When Paige applies her culinary talents to baking, the results are off the charts wonderful. Each dessert in this class will highlight fruit - in creamy, crunchy, cold, and delicious ways. The variety of desserts will include: Rhubarb Upside Down Cake; Key Lime Tart; Lemon Pudding Cake; Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream; and Apricot, Cherry & Almond Crisp. We'll be waiting for you with the tea and coffee on.

A Mediterranean-Inspired Summer Menu

The response to our idea of Dinner with Class has been so positive we've put a third one on the calendar before we take a break for summer. As usual we'll start with a cooking demonstration of the menu you'll be enjoying, followed by a wonderful three-course meal. You'll have recipes to take home, and a chance to visit with Paige while you dine. You are invited to bring a bottle of wine, if you'd like. Our seasonal Mediterranean meal will start with Potato Gnocchi with Asparagus, Browned Butter & Herbs. For our main course you'll savor Mustard-Crusted Rack of Lamb served with a salad of Local Lettuces & Seasonal Vegetables, and local artisan breads. For dessert enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of heavenly Apricot & Almond Cream Tart. It doesn't get much better than this. Limited to 16.

Take the bounty of the Farmers' Market and create lovely main dish salads. Chef Paige will put her culinary magic to work to create an array of beautiful and tasty summer salads. Paige will prepare Spinach Salad with Roasted Corn & Mushrooms; California Roasted Root Vegetable Salad with Marinated Pork Tenderloin; Pasta Salad with Fresh Tomatoes & Mozzarella; and Chickpea Salad with Roasted Red Peppers & Moroccan Vinaigrette. Bring on the heat, you'll be ready with these cool, and very special salads.

All-New Tofu Cooking Basics

If you think tofu is weird, but you're still interested in learning how to cook with it, this is your class! In this new and updated version of our classic introductory tofu cooking class we'll still cover lots of basic info about tofu, but we'll make fresh new recipes.
We'll start with simple Maple Glazed Tofu, and a Savory Tofu Olive Spread. Then we'll prepare two main dishes: Tofu Fajitas with Cilantro-Jalapeno Sauce, and Summer Lasagna with Garlic Herb Tofu. And for dessert - Tofu Chocolate Silk Pie. Each class participant will receive a complimentary pound of local Central Soyfoods Tofu to take home.

After the wildly popular first Asian Wrap class, Chef Nancy has come up with a brand-new round of fun-to-make and even more fun-to-eat Asian dishes to wrap and roll in your home kitchen! Get ready to enjoy Shao Mei (steamed pork dumplings) with Chile-Vinegar Sauce; Chinese Chicken Dim Sum Buns; and Vietnamese Shrimp Pancakes. As usual Chef Nancy will make us a surprise sweet to end our wrap and roll evening.
